Terms & Conditions

1) Scope

• 💼 Who we are — Timberfalls provides CNC training, custom CNC projects (physical goods), and digital design files (e.g., STL, SVG).
• 📄 What these terms cover — All quotes, orders, design approvals, payments, shipments, and downloads made through Timberfalls.us or via direct invoice.

2) Orders & Design Approvals

• 📝 Request — Provide project details (dimensions, materials, finishing, deadline) and upload reference files where possible.
• 🧩 Design — If you don’t have production-ready artwork, we can design it. Design time is billable and included in the quote.
• ✅ Approval — We will share a proof/preview. Production (or file delivery) only proceeds after your explicit approval.

3) Pricing & Payment

• 💲 Quotes — Quotes may include design, materials, machining, labor, finishing, and an estimated shipping amount (final shipping depends on finished size/weight).
• 💳 Payment timing — For custom CNC projects, full payment is required after design approval and before we purchase materials or begin machining.
• 🧾 Taxes/fees — Applicable taxes, processing fees, and shipping charges will be listed on the invoice when known.

4) Revisions & Changes

• ✏️ Change requests — Revisions after the initial proof are billed at the posted rate (e.g., $40 per revision for design file work) unless otherwise quoted.
• 🕒 Timeline impacts — Changes may affect price and delivery dates. We’ll confirm new estimates before proceeding.

5) Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

• 🧠 Custom work is final — Because each CNC project and most design files are custom-made to your approval, all sales are final once design is approved and payment is made.
• 🛑 Cancellation — If you wish to cancel before design approval, notify us immediately. Any time or costs already incurred (design labor, rush materials) may be billed.
• 💻 Digital downloads — All digital file sales (e.g., STL/SVG) are non-refundable once delivered or accessed.

6) Shipping & Delivery

• 📦 Estimates — Shipping is estimated in your quote; final charges may adjust based on packed weight/size.
• 🚚 Carrier & transit — We ship via common carriers. Transit times are estimates and outside our control once shipped.
• 🧾 Damage/Loss claims — Inspect packages on arrival. Notify us within 3 business days with photos of packaging and product so we can assist with a carrier claim.
• 📍 Incorrect address — Customer is responsible for accurate shipping information; reshipment costs for incorrect addresses are billable.

7) Intellectual Property & License

• 🖼️ Your supplied artwork — You represent that you own or have permission to use any logos/art you provide. You grant Timberfalls a license to use it for your project.
• 📁 Digital files we create — Unless otherwise stated in writing, digital files (e.g., STL/SVG) are provided with a Limited Commercial License: you may produce and sell physical items made from the file; you may not share, resell, or distribute the digital file or close derivatives.
• 🪵 Physical works — You own the physical item we ship. Underlying design files remain Timberfalls’ IP unless separately licensed or purchased.
• 📣 Portfolio right — We may photograph and display completed work for our portfolio and social channels unless you request otherwise in writing prior to production.

8) Warranty & Limitations

• 🧰 Fit for purpose — Custom items are produced to the approved design/specifications. Natural materials (e.g., wood) may have grain/colour variation and movement over time.
• ⚠️ Limit of liability — To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timberfalls’ liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order at issue.

9) Privacy & Communications

• 🔒 Privacy — We handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• ✉️ Notifications — You consent to receive emails related to quotes, proofs, invoices, and shipping updates.

10) Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for any dispute shall be in Louisiana courts of competent jurisdiction.
