Vendor Resource Guide

Everything you need to prep, list, and sell your digital designs on TimberFalls — for CNC’rs, by CNC’rs.

Quick Start Checklist

Prepare Files

  • Export clean, watertight models
  • Vectors as ZIP (SVG/AI/EPS)
  • Name packs clearly (see naming)

Create Listing

  • Upload files (STL / SVG / ZIP)
  • Add images (3+), tags, short summary
  • Paste description template

Publish & Get Paid

  • Admin review & publish
  • 85% payout (min $50)
  • PayPal or Bank transfer monthly

File & Listing Requirements (digital-only)

Allowed File Types

  • 3D/CAD: STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, DXF
  • Vectors: SVG, AI, EPS, PDF (ZIP your vectors)
  • Archives/Images: ZIP, PNG, JPG, WEBP (for previews)

Vectors (SVG/AI/EPS) must be uploaded as ZIP packages or sanitized server-side.

Naming & Packaging

  • Use clear names: vendor-modelname-v1.zip
  • Include formats in the listing title: “… – STL” or “… – SVG Pack”
  • Include a readme.txt if needed (license summary, notes)

Product Images & Presentation

Images (3 minimum)

  • Main hero + 2–4 alternates/angles
  • 1200px+ JPG/PNG, clean neutral background
  • Optional: photo of a finished carve/print

Tags & Summary

  • Short description: 1–2 sentences near the price
  • Tags: 3–6 relevant terms (e.g., skull, patriotic, svg, stl, plaque)
  • Use Title Case for product titles

Compatibility

Works with common design/CAD/CAM software that supports your file type — e.g., VCarve, Aspire, Carveco, Fusion 360, LightBurn, Blender, MeshCAM, and similar tools.

License & Terms

Limited Commercial License: you may sell physical items made from this design. No resale or redistribution of digital files. All sales are final after file delivery. See our Terms & Conditions for details.

Step-by-step: Create a Product

Create a Product

  1. Go to Vendor Dashboard → Products → Add New.
  2. Enter a clear Title and Short Description.
  3. Upload your files (STL / SVG / ZIP). (Items are auto-marked Virtual + Downloadable.)
  4. Add Images (3+), Tags, and pick the correct category (STL Models or SVG Designs).
  5. Paste the Full Description Template and adjust details.
  6. Submit. TimberFalls reviews and publishes to the main store.

Payouts & Commissions

Payouts & Commissions

  • 85% vendor payout / 15% platform fee
  • Minimum withdrawal $50
  • Hold period: 7 days after purchase/refund window
  • Payouts: Monthly via PayPal or Bank Transfer
