80 mm Wooden Dust Boot – SVG Vector Design (Two-Sided Carve)
This version of the 80 mm CNC dust boot is built entirely from vector toolpaths. Perfect for Carveco Maker, Maker+, or VCarve users who prefer traditional 2D pocketing and profiling. The design is split into Side 1 and Side 2 SVG files that align through the center of your stock for a clean double-sided carve.
Design Details
- Includes DustBoot_Top.svg and DustBoot_Bottom.svg
- Requires double-sided carving and alignment on material center
- Cut depth and toolpath diagrams included for every step
- Optimized for 1/4″ EM + 1/8″ EM bits
- Creates a finished boot ready to glue, sand, and mount
Cutting Workflow Summary
- Material: 2×8 pine board, 20″ long × 1.5″ thick
- Side 1: Pocket 1″ deep using 1/4″ EM, flip left-to-right for Side 2
- Side 2: Pocket through openings (1.5″ deep) + cut skirt groove 0.25″ deep with 1/8″ EM
- Finish: Profile outer vectors full depth (1.5″); glue halves together & sand to fit
